David Morrell is a Canadian author and comic book writer.
Career
Despite an extensive career writing thriller and horror novels, perhaps Morrell's most notable work is the antiwar story First Blood. The book introduced the character John Rambo, who was later portrayed by actor Sylvester Stallone in a series of Rambo films.
