  • NHL Career

    Legwand was drafted second overall in the 1998 NHL draft by the Nashville Predators. He joined the team for his NHL debut that same year, playing just a single game with the Predators and spending the rest of the season in the Ontario Hockey League with the Plymouth Whalers. Legwand continued with the Predators until the 2004-05 NHL lockout, when he played in Switzerland for Nationalliga A. After returning to the Predators in 2005, Legwand was limited to 44 regular season games after spraining his knee and undergoing surgeryin December. On December 7, 2007, he extended his contract with the Predators for an additional seven years.
