David Krieg allegedly shot and killed himself during a nine-hour standoff with police on December 2, 2008. Krieg had allegedly earlier shot and killed lawyer Anthony Ottaviano, and then kidnapped Ottaviano's girlfriend, professional dominatrix Edythe Maa (also known as Jade Vixen.)New York Post: Lawyer's Deadly Secret (December 4, 2008)

According to police, Krieg had been stalking Maa for several months and was a former client of the dominatrix. On December 2, Krieg allegedly entered Maa's Philadelphia apartment and confronted Ottaviano and Maa. Krieg then allegedly shot and killed Ottaviano and took Maa hostage.
