Actress, writer and comedian Wanda Sykes announced she was a lesbian in 2008, the same year she and Hall divorced. Later that year, Sykes married her girlfriend Alexandra. Alex Sykes gave birth to fraternal twins, Olivia Lou (6 lbs., 7 oz.) and Lucas Claude (7 lbs., 9 oz.), on April 27, 2009.The announcement of the twins birth was held until May 13, several days after Wanda Sykes headlined the White House Correspondents Dinner on May 9, 2009.
