David Hale

Professional Hockey player David Hale is a member of National Hockey League team the Calgary Flames' defense. After five NHL seasons, Hale had yet to score a goal and was the holder of the League's longest scoring drought.

Hale was drafted by the New Jersey Devils during the first round of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft and played for the US World Junior Team in 2001. His NHL debut came in 2003, when he assisted on four goals for four points and earned 72 penalty minutes in 65 games. He split the next two seasons playing for the Devils' and their American Hockey League affiliate, the Albany River Rats.

At the 2007 trade deadline, Hale was traded to the Calgary Flames.
