David Dreier Discusses the Stimulus Package
Congressman Dreier addresses the House assembly to offer his opinion on the Democratic stimulus package. He calls the plan endorsed by President Obama both hasty and a mistake. He denies accusations that the Republican party was a "party of no" it came to the bailout, but instead asserts that they proposed their own stimulus package that would have had less of a negative impact on the economy. He asserts that the stimulus package is jeopardizing economic growth and extending the reach of government.
