David Copperfield is a multi Emmy Award winning, American magician and illusionist.
Claudia Schiffer
From 1994 to 1999, Copperfield was married to the German supermodel Claudia Schiffer. They first met early in 1993 when Schiffer attended one of Copperfield's stage shows and she was invited on stage to take part in his "Flying" illusion. Later the same year, the pair appeared together on German TV, with Schiffer acting as Copperfield's assistant and being sawed in half. While they were married, and when not otherwise occupied with her modelling work, Schiffer often joined her husband in his stage shows as a special guest assistant in a number of illusions. During the show, she would be levitated high into the air, made to vanish and re-appear, and finally sawed in half. They divorced in 1999 and, later that year, Schiffer began a relationship with Tim Jeffries.
