"Dude, that was an amazing vocal performance. A molten hot lava bomb."Paula
Believe that Cook could sing absolutely anything.Idol Chatter Review
"David C. says he grew up doing musical theater, and chooses Music of the Night from Phantom. No guitar, of course, and he unveils a new side of his vocal talents, singing very theatrically. No grunge-lite, even a big old note or two (the last one showing the only signs of strain). This will either tick off his rock-besotted fans or jump him to a whole new level as the singer to beat. Randy says it's an amazing molten-hot lava bomb or something. Paula says, "Fantastic." Simon says he made the most of the song but likes him as a rocker better."-
