David Carr 2009 Season

David Carr 2002 through 2006
From 2002 to 2006 Carr was the starting Quarterback for the Carolina Panthers. In that time he completed 60% of his passes, threw for 13,391 yards, 59 touchdowns and 65 interceptions. He played in all but 4 games for the Panthers during those 5 years, and unfortunately took a beating unlike any other quarterback in that span. He was sacked an absurd 249 times in the 76 games he played, giving him an average of 3 and 1/4 sacks every game. While the saying "stats don't lie" is certainly true, it's especially important in Carr's case to look at all of the statshttp://www.49ers.com/team/roster/David-Carr/5ad5d76f-eeec-4336-9528-69f192eb6da2.
