  • David Beckham is a professional soccer player for the Los Angeles Galaxy. Beckham is one of the most recognizable athletes in the world and is married to fashion icon Victoria Beckham, of Spice Girls fame.

    People Magazine reported on April 28, 2009, that Beckham is launching a new clothing line for Adidas Originals by Originals.     Beckham began his career when he debuted with Manchester United in 1992 at the age of 17. During his time with the team, Manchester United won the Premier League title six times and the UEFA Champions League in 1999. He left Manchester for Real Madrid in 2003, and in his final season with the club, Real Madrid captured the La Liga title. Beckham signed with the Los Angeles Galaxy in 2007 and currently resides in Beverly Hills, California with his wife and two children.
  • Loan to AC Milan

    On October 22, 2008, it was reported that the L.A. Galaxy would lend Beckham to AC Milan for several months in the season.     In March of 2009, the Galaxy, who allowed Beckham to play for the AC Milan on loan, reached an agreement with the AC Milan to allow Beckham to split his time between each club.     On December 27, 2008, the Pepsi corporation announced that they were ending their 10-year advertising relationship with the star soccer player.
