David Alan Grier

David Alan Grier is an African-American actor who started his film career in dramatic roles but soon came to specialize in comedy. He won a Golden Lion Award for Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival.

On April 7, 2009, Grier was booted off the eighth season of the ABC reality show Dancing with the Stars.
