Dave Scatchard

  • Canadian professional hockey player Dave Scatchard most recently played in the National Hockey League with the Phoenix Coyotes. The Coyotes released Scatchard after the 2006-07 season.
  • NHL Career

    Scatchard was drafted 42nd overall in the 1994 NHL draft by the Vancouver Canucks. He played two seasons with his junior team, the Portland Winter Hawks in the Western Hockey League, then joined the Syracuse Crunch in the American Hockey League for the 1996-97 season. Scatchard made his NHL debut with the Canucks in 1997 and played there for just over two seasons before he was sent to the New York Islanders on December 19, 1999. He played with the Islanders for four and a half seasons, then signed with the Boston Bruins on August 2, 2005. Scatchard joined the Bruins for only 16 games before he was sent to the Phoenix Coyotes.
