Guitarist Dave Navarro has played with many bands including Jane's Addiction and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He was married for three years to model Carmen Electra.

Dave Navarro picked up the guitar at the age of seven. In junior high school he formed his first band South Dakota Railroad.

In 1986 Navarro joined the alternative rock group Jane's Addiction and stayed with them until they broke up in 1991 due to personal tensions from the members.

After John Frusciante left the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1993, Navarro was asked to join. They debuted the new line-up at Woodstock 94 wearing light bulb costumes. He left shortly after the tour ended to pursue a solo career.
