The Dave Matthews Band, often called DBM, was selected to be one of the 2010 Grammy performers. Nominated for Grammy Album of the Year and Best Rock Album, their most recent release ‘’’Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King’’’ was released in tribute to band member LeRoi Moore who died in an ATV accident. The album, their seventh studio album almost didn’t make it, with the band considering disbanding due to internal fighting. The name of the album is in dedication to Moore, and the album is a testament to the 18 year band’s willpower to continue to remain together and perform after the tragedy. http://www.grammy.com/nominees http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1609626/20090420/dave_matthews_band.jhtml
