Canadian actor and writer Dave Foley came to international attention as one of the founding members of the comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall with Kevin McDonald, Scott Thompson, Bruce McCulloch, and Mark McKinney. He starred in their television show and their movie Brain Candy.
He left the group in 1994 to star in the NBC sitcom NewsRadio with the late Phil Hartman. After NewsRadio Foley went on to guest star in numerous television programs, hosted Celebrity Poker Showdown and eventually reunited with Kids costars for their various international tours.
