  • Early Years

    Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on November 9, 1979, Bush attended and played for Conestoga High School in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, where he was named MVP in both his junior and senior years. Wake Forest University was Bush's college of choice earning a double major in both psychology and sociology. While at Wake Forest, he continued his baseball career with the Wake Forest Demons Deacons baseball team and was awarded the First Team AA-American and First Team All-ACC.
  • On the Road to the Big Leagues

    After turning down his first MLB draft offer in 2001 by the Tampa Bay Rays, he was selected in the 2002 amateur draft and signed with the Toronto Blue Jays. After working his way through the minor leagues, he made his major league debut with Toronto in 2004. In the 2005 season, Bush was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers. Bush started 32 times in his first season with the Brewers he and set career highs in every category. In the 2007 season, Bush set more career highs going 12-10 in 33 games with 31 of the starts.
