Dave Brubeck is a world-renowned American jazz pianist and composer best known for his work with the Dave Brubeck Quartet. Utilizing elements of Classical and Jazz (as well as the incorporation of unusual time signatures and tempos, Brubeck became one of the first Jazz musicians to crossover into mainstream success with the 1959 album Time Out - which include his signature piece "Take Five".
