Goal
The President's first executive order when he came into office was to increase the public's accessibility and transparency to the government. The result of which was the Open Government Initiative. The initiative included the development of the website data.gov, which will cull government datasets for public consumption. The website will start with downloadable dataset files from the executive branch of the government, moving to other branches as user participation increases and improvements on the site are made.
