Changes to Service Model
On November 3, 2008 Om Malik broke the story that Dash Navigation would be making some significant changes to its business model, citing the Global Credit Crisis as a cause. Projected announcements included a move from consumer-focused to a business-to-business focus, a move to licensing its technology rather than manufacturing hardware, and a two-thirds cut in its employee base.
