Darryl Worley is a country music singer and songwriter. He was born on Oct. 31, 1961 in Memphis, TN. His musical roots come from his parents, since father was a Methodist preacher and his mother sang in the church choir. When he was young his family moved to Pyburn, TN and he was raised there. He attended college at the University of North Alabama, where he earned a degree in biology. In 1994, he wrote a song that was published on the Archer/Parks album and he began his songwriting career with several studios. Worley was added to the DreamWorks label in 1999, where he produced his first album. So far, has had fifteen singles on Billboards hot country songs charts, including his now famous tribute to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks named, “Have You Forgotten?" Worley also created a major stir among the country music world after posing nude in the July 2007 issue of the magazine called Playgirl. He wanted to add a more sexual element to his music and songwriting. He stunned a lot of fans, but he just wanted to change his image.
