Early Life
Darrick Martin was born in Denver, Colorado on March 6, 1970. He attended high school at Saint Anthony in Long Beach. He continued his education at the University of California, Los Angeles.Basketball-Reference.com: Darrick MartinPro Career
Martin was not selected in the NBA Draft, but he signed as a free agent in 1995 with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Martin has been able to carve out a career in the NBA playing for several franchises including: the Vancouver Grizzlies, Los Angeles Clippers, Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks and Toronto Raptors.
