  • Football Career

    Prior to playing in the NFL, Sharper played college football at the College of William and Mary. He set school and league records in categories such as interceptions, interception return yards and punt return yards. Sharper also earned the Yankee Conference Defensive Player of the Year award in 1996 and was selected as an All-America twice.     Sharper made his professional debut with the Packers in 1997, playing in 14 games. He earned a starting spot with the Packers in 1998 and continued with the team for a total of eight seasons, including in 2000, when he was selected for his first Pro Bowl.
