Darren McFadden

Darren McFadden is a running back that was drafted in the 2008 NFL draft by the Oakland Raiders. McFadden played for the University of Arkansas and was a two time All-American and the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy in 2006 and 2007.

On April 3, 2009, news agencies reported that Darren McFadden was added as a defendant to a civil lawsuit for his role in a bar fight in Little Rock, Arkansas. The incident occurred on January 10, 2008. Brant Hankins, a former bouncer is suing the Ernie Briggs bar, because he was injured in the scuffle. College Career

Darren McFadden played for the Arkansas Razorbacks and broke many school records such as the most rushing yards in a single game and the most in a single season. He currently holds the all-time record for most yards in his career with the University of Arkansas. Because of his success, McFadden applied to take part in the 2008 NFL draft and was drafted by the Raiders as their 4th pick.

Controversy

In December of 2007, McFadden reportedly received a Cadillac Escalade by sports agent Mike Conley. Because these type of gifts or perks are in violation of NCAA policy, McFadden's eligibility to play with the Razorbacks in the Cotton Bowl was questioned. The report was later retracted.

Ian Kerri Lynette Williams filed a paternity lawsuit against McFadden to establish paternity andn February of 2009, California wom gain child support for an 11-month old son.
