Basketball Career
Arthur played high school basketball at South Oak Cliff High School, winning the Texas state championship in 2005 in 2006. He was selected as the Dallas Morning News Player of the Year in 2006 as well as All-American. Later in 2006, Arthur enrolled at the University of Kansas. He started seven games his freshman year and averaged 9.8 points per game.
