Darnell Brittingham, a rapper known as "King Tut," killed himself during a stand-off with New York police. Brittingham was wanted by police in New Jersey for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend seven times on February 12, 2009.Newsday: Rapper wanted in stabbing commits suicide(March 18, 2009) Detectives found him in a motel in White Plains, New York. A S.W.A.T. Team saw Brittingham leave the hotel with a woman and get into a taxi cab.
