Darksiders, is a video game that combines Hack and Slash elements with the gameplay from an action-adventure video game. Developed by Vigil Games and published by THQ, the title was released on January 5, 2010 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. In Darksiders on PC the player will still assume the role of War, the Horseman of the Apocalypse. Judged by the Charred Council, he is found guilty of stirring a war between Heaven and Hell. Now, dishonored he has to return to Earth to find out who is behind these treacherous actions. Hunted by Angels, War must also defeat the forces of Hell if he wants to be vindicated. When War starts his journey, players should be prepared to engage not only the forces of Hell. War’s has to defeat the Angels too if he wants to find redemption for what he is accused of. Therefore, his fury has no limits and with a wide arsenal of weapons that can be unlocked and upgraded, he will find justice. Almost everything War finds during his adventure can be used as weapon and in the epic battles he fights, they are more than welcomed. Besides his weapons, War’s powers can also be upgraded however he must collect Soul Cores for that.
