    On December 28, 2008, news agencies reported that Darko Milicic will miss 4-6 weeks of the NBA season due to a broken knuckle on his right ring finger. The injury was sustained several days earlier in a game against the Indiana Pacers. Grizzlies head coach Mike Ivaroni stated, "We're back to starting three youngsters a lot.   • Pro Career

    In his first several seasons with the Pistons, Milicic failed to earn a spot in the regular rotation. In three seasons, the most games he played in was 37 during the 2004 - 2005 campaign. He never averaged above 1.8 points per game during his time with the Pistons. In 2006, Milicic was traded to the Orlando Magic. Milicic signed as a free agent with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2007.
