Dario Argento is an Italian director of slasher/horror films. One of Argento's most critically well-regarded films is the supernatural horror movie titled Suspiria, a surreal and gory film that is part of a trilogy about three ancient witches. Argento is also known for producing the European version of the original Dawn of the Dead, called Zombi in Europe, which features more original footage and more of the original score by the Italian progressive rock band Goblin. More recently, Argento contributed two short films to the Masters of Horror collection.
Dario Argento Quotes
- "I like women, especially beautiful ones. If they have a good face and figure, I would much prefer to watch them being murdered than an ugly girl or man. I certainly don't have to justify myself to anyone about this. I don't care what anyone thinks or reads into it. I have often had journalists walk out of interviews when I say what I feel about this subject."
