Darfur Rallies occurred in cities in more than 30 countries on September 17, 2007. The rallies were in the name of Global Day for Darfur to protest the Sudanese government's violation of the Darfur Peace Agreement of May 2006 and to demand that world leaders help bring an end to the conflict in the region which has left hundreds of thousands dead and millions displaced.
