Darfur Food Aid Cut

Categories: News
  • Food aids that are delivered to Sudan's Darfur have been reduced fifty percent because trucks of food have been stolen in several bandit attacks. There are still thirty seven trucks missing along with twenty three drivers. Many drivers are unwilling to risk going back to Darfur. The food aid has already drastically been cut because of the soaring food prices and the lack of funding. That deficit is projected to rise to 200 million dollars by the end of the year. About two million people rely on these food aids.
