Aggressive right winger Darcy Tucker plays professional hockey for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League.
Tucker was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens during the fifth round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. He won a gold medal with the Canadian World Junior Championship team in 1995 and joined the Canadiens' lineup for the 1996-1997 season, during which he earned 20 points and 100 penalty minutes.
Partway through the following season, Tucker was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning where he remained for the better part of three seasons before being traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2000. Tucker quickly proved himself as one of the Leafs' top forwards and was instrumental in the team making the playoffs for the next five seasons.
