Wide receiver Dante Love most recently played college football for the Ball State University Cardinals. In September of 2008, Love suffered a career-ending cervical spine injury.
In February of 2009, Love was offered a coaching position with the Ball State Cardinals. He is set to join the team as a volunteer student assistant for the 2009 season while he finishes his undergraduate degree. Cardinals coach Stan Parrish also plans to hire Love as a graduate assistant in the Spring of 2010. Spinal Cord Injury
On September 20, 2008, Love suffered a cervical spine injury during a game when he lowered his head and rammed his helmet into the helmet of Indiana corner back Chris Adkins.
