    Villa began his career playing college football with the Arizona State Sun Devils in 1984. He helped the team win the Pac-10 Championship in 1986 as well as the Rose Bowl in 1987. His play earned him All-American and All-Pac 10 selections, a nomination for the Outland Trophy, given to the top collegiate lineman, as well as induction to the Arizona State Hall of Fame in 2002.Arizona State Sun Devils: Danny Villa

    Villa was drafted in the fifth round of the 1987 NFL draft by the New England Patriots. He made his professional debut that same year, playing five season with the Patriots. In 1992, he went to the Phoenix Cardinals (no Arizona Cardinals), playing one year before going to the Kansas City Chiefs. In 1997, Villa returned to the Patriots, playing seven games.
