• Danny Noriega, from Azusa, California, was a top 24 finalist on the 7th season of American Idol. He was eliminated from the show on March 6, 2008, after his performance of "Tainted Love" during the previous night's episode.

    Noriega made it to the Hollywood round during season 6 but he has admitted that he did not progress further in the competition due to poor song choice and his nerves getting the best of him. During his run on the show he sang "Jailhouse Rock," "Superstar" and "Tainted Love." He was sent home the same night as Kady Malloy, Luke Menard and Asia'h Epperson.

  • Life After Idol

    Once Noriega was eliminated from the show he received an offer from Rosie O'Donnell to attend her cruise and perform. Since leaving the show he has also come under scrutiny for his video rant on Santa and Christmas that was posted on YouTube.
