Youngest Champion
Prior to Danny Lee winning the U.S. Amateur champion, Tiger Woods became the youngest champion when he won the title in 1994. Lee is six months and 29 days younger than Woods was when he originally won the championship. The victory gives Lee exemptions into the U.S. Open and British Open.
