The Skydive
About ten people skydived at the same time as Pharr. They jumped out of an airplane at 13,500 feet in the air. During the skydive, Steele stopped answering questions. Pharr said he knew something was wrong and grabbed the toggles to steer them down. After landing, Pharr performed CPR on Steele, but it was not successful. Steele was later pronounced dead.Fox News: Skydiving Instructor Dies, First-Timer Lands Safely in Tandem Jump (February 2, 2009)-
