Negreanu will appear as one of the professional poker players on the Fox reality series PokerStars Big Game, along with Vanessa Rousso and others. The show features "Loose Cannon" players selected from online tournaments who will then compete against professional players.
In 2009, Negreanu posted a challenge for himself on the PokerStars blog. Starting with only a $10 stake, he claimed that he was attempting to earn $10,000. Among the "rules" Negreanu has set for his experiment are that he would only play with a buy-in of 1/5 his total bankroll and that he would only play in No-Limit Hold 'Em cash games.http://www.pokerstarsblog.com/players/daniel_negreanu/2009/daniel-negreaus-10-challenge-035708.html
