Daniel Markofski is a elementary school principal from Spring Grove, Michigan. On April 8, 2008 he was arrested in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in a motel room with 2 under-aged girls, smoking marijuana, drinking cognac and watching pornographic movies. Markofski reportedly met the girls through a telephone chat service. The girls were ages 15 and 16 and are cousins. The 15 year old was reportedly in the room when Markofski performed a sexual act on the 16 year old. A police officer was on routine patrol when walking past the motel room he smelled the marijuana. Upon entering the room he found the principal and the children. Markofski is currently being held in lieu of bond in the Milwaukee County Jail. Meanwhile back in his school district, an emergency meeting was held on Wednesday evening to determine a course of action for the district. A PTA meeting scheduled for that evening was canceled according to the school website.
