Daniel Hauser is a 13-year-old boy from Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, who has Hodgkin's Disease. Doctors believe that he has a 90% chance of being cured if he goes through a treatment of combined chemotherapy and radiation and a 95% chance of dying if he does not. Daniel Hauser was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in January 2009, when he was hospitalized for complications associated with a tumor in his chest. He was given one round of therapy in February, but did not return for a second treatment. His parents opted for an alternative treatment they say they found on the Internet.
