Daniel Deshawn Neal, of Chicago, was arrested for raping an elderly woman and setting her on fire in Grand Prairie, Texas. Neal was arrested on March 31, 2009, after a fellow door-to-door magazine salesman provided authorities with information.
The 78-year-old victim was hospitalized with second-degree burns. Elderly Woman Raped
Police in Grand Prairie, Texas, said that on Monday, March 30, 2009, Neal went to the home of an elderly woman and posed as a college student in need of "points" for a communications program. The woman, age 78, invited the man, who introduced himself as "Daniel," into her home.
