Craig became the sixth actor to portray James Bond when he assumed the role in Casino Royale. Prior to succeeding Pierce Brosnan as 007, Craig co-starred in Road to Perdition with Tom Hanks, and in Lara Croft:Tomb Raider with Angelina Jolie.
