Welcome to week 6 of Dancing with the Stars season 7. This week we learned that Michael Flatley will be filling in for Len this week as a guest judge. We also learned that professional dancer Julianne Hough was rushed to the hospital last week right after elimination night with stomach cramps. It has been confirmed she is scheduled for surgery tomorrow to remove her appendix. Will she dance tonight? Will Cody need another partner? Is anyone else injured this week? Find out right now!
November 25, 2008: Brooke Burke and Derek Hough were named the winners, taking home the mirrored ball trophy. Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson came in second place. Lance Bass was the third runner up.

October 21, 2008: Julianne Hough was taken to the emergency room after the elimination show. - Michael: Its amazing to see the fastest man on earth move so slow. Great job.
- Bruno: At times you look like a surfer on dry land. It lacks fluidity.

Dancing with the Stars Season 7 Week 6 Elimination Night
- 10/28 Welcome to week six of Dancing with the Stars. Tonight one couple will go home and six couples will stay and compete next week. Lets get started.
- First thing tonight is the judge's favorite dance. Tonight they choose the hip-hop group dance.

- Tonight the first couple safe is Lance Bass & Lacey Schwimmer.
- The second couple safe tonight is Cody Linley & Julianne Hough. Next week Cody will dance with professional dancer Edyta Sliwinska while Julianne recovers from her surgery.
- Now it is time for the children's competition.
- First up is brother and sister partners, Craig (12) and Samantha (11). They are dancing the Cha Cha Cha.
- Michael: Your parents must be so proud of you!
- Bruno: That was fantastic!
- Carrie Ann: You guys are like poetry in motion!
- Next up is Lucy (13) and Simon (13), they are from California. They are dancing the Samba.
- Carrie Ann: I think you two are wonderful.

- Bruno: The Samba is all about having fun and you looked like you had fun.
- The winners of the children's round is Craig and Samantha. Congratulations to the winners!
