Breaking News
- Week 8: Melissa hurt her ribs last week but continued to dance. This week she found out she had a fractured rib. She was given the ok to dance by her doctor but at the end of the last rehearsal she was in too much pain to continue. The judges judged her on her last taped rehearsal and showed no mercy by giving her a total of 21.

Dancing with the Stars Season 8 Week 8
- 4/27 Welcome to episode 8 of season eight's Dancing with the Stars. Last week Lawrence and Edyta were voted off the show. Tonight all couples will be judged in a team dance. This means again they must learn two dances. Houston we have a problem, where is Melissa? All the stars came down the stairs to be introduced except Melissa. Uh oh Tom tells us that she suffered a injury this week and will not be able to compete this week. He promises more information later.
- First on the dance floor tonight is Cheryl Burke & Gilles Marini . Last week Gilles scored three 9's but he has yet to get back on the top spot. During rehearsal he is hurt and taken to the doctor. He stretched his ligament in his shoulder and was given a shot of cortisone. This week they are dancing the Lindy Hop this should be fun!
- Carrie Ann Inaba: Agrees with Bruno and thinks he brought out his comedy side and it was great!
- Len: Len decides he is going to make a list of all the things good about the French, french fries, french toast, french kissing and today he wants to add the Lindy Hop on that list!
- Bruno: Thinks happy days are here again and thinks he did a good job!

- Up next is Derek Hough & Lil Kim. Last week Lil Kim's plan to please Len backfired on her and she ended up in fifth place. This week they are dancing the Paso Doble and she is bringing her sexiness back!

- Carrie Ann Inaba: Thinks this was a great showcase dance for her it shows just how much she has grown.
- Len: Claims this competition isn't all about mastering the dances that your good at, it is about coping with the ones you are not so good at. He was expecting "oh no" but got "O-lay!"
- Bruno: Thinks "The bitch is back and she means business!"

- Up next is Julianne Hough & Chuck Wicks. Last week Chuck scorched the floor in a Samba that ignited the dance floor! He claims that when he saw Julianne's face light up with the 3 9's he felt as though he has finally proven himself to her. This week they are dancing the Cha Cha Cha

- Carrie Ann Inaba: Thinks Chuck is in the game! Thinks this was fantastic and he is really becoming a contender but wants him to tuck his chin in!
- Len: Thinks this competition is getting good and thinks he is getting stronger and stronger but wants him to work on his arms.
- Bruno: Thinks he had great bum action. Agrees with Len regarding his arms, he must bring the fluidity into the placement of the top.

- Up next is Shawn Johnson & Mark. Last week Shawn finally struck gold and recieved her first 10 of the season and now she wants another one. This week they are dancing the Samba. She was having a little trouble learning the femine side of the dance and Mark was not doing a great job so he brought in his mom to help Shawn.
- Standing Ovation
- Carrie Ann Inaba: Carrie is looking for great technique, solid performances, nailing every step, not making any mistakes and that is what she just saw!
- Len: Doesn't think she will ever dance bad but at this time of the competition he wants more from her. it was just ok and not her best.
- Bruno: Thinks this was a good dance, she has time to grow into it right now she is no Lady GaGa.

- Last week Melissa suffered a rib injury during rehearsal but continued to dance, this week practicing for the Jive she hurt it again. This time she went to the doctor and was told she more than likely had a fractured rib. The doctor told her she could dance but her partner had to be very careful. She was able to rehearse this morning but the pain was unbearable and she has to miss tonight. The judges will base their judges on their taped rehearsal.
- Carrie Ann Inaba: Reminds the audience that the rehearsal was mainly just "marking" the dance (means they where not interacting with the audience) and it is going to be very hard to judge that.
- Len: Judging the rehearsal is like judging a race car driver practicing on a lap.
- Bruno: Thinks it is unfortunate that we have to do it like this, everything was weak because it was a rehearsal.

- Up next is Chelsie Hightower & Ty Murray. Last week Ty hit the comeback trail with a waltz that won over the judges. This week they are dancing the Salsa and he is having a little learning the hip action. To help him learn Chelsea brought in Dmitry to help him learn with a crash course. At end of rehearsal Chelsea convinced Ty to get a spray on tan.
- Standing Ovation
- Carrie Ann Inaba: Carrie begins by screaming louder than the audience. She loved it and never knows what to expect when he comes out. This was a Salsa and she loved it!
- Len: Thinks he has had more rides than anyone here and has done really well but thinks unless he comes out and really does well in the group dance, his time has come to hit the trail.
- Bruno: Thinks the spray tan just brought out the forcefulness in him. It wasn't the perfect Salsa but it was a brave effort!
- Scores:

- Up next is the team dances. The judges will score the dance at the end and the score will be added on to each couples other score.
- On team Mambo we have, Lacey, Tony, Mark, Shawn, Chuck and Julianne. On team Tango we have Lil Kim, Derek, Ty, Chelsie, Cheryl and Gilles.
- First up is team Mambo and Melissa is not able to dance this one so Lacey has joined the group.
- They are dancing to a cover of "Single Ladies" and promise to have a huge treat in store for the audience!
- This is to funny! The guys all jumped up on top of the judges table and stripped off their suits revealing black leotards and white tights. The crowd goes wild!
- Carrie Ann Inaba: Thinks its all fun but she found it very distracting and the music over powered them.
- Len: Thinks it was fun, entertaining and he has to say what a great job the professionals did!
- Bruno: Thinks it is really nice to see men who shop in the women's department!

- Up next is team Tango. They start off with Ty and Gilles standing on the judges podium bare chested. This should be good!

- Carrie Ann Inaba: Thinks team Tango takes this one! As a group they did awesome.
- Len: Points out Lil Kim's mistake but thinks Ty brought it!
- Bruno: Thinks team Tango was like a pack of raptures. The end gave him goose pimples.

Dancing with the Stars Week 8 Elimination Night
- 4/28 Welcome to elimination night! This evening Robin Thicke will perform before we say goodbye to one more couple. Tonight the judges want to see Team Tango's performance from last night.
- Right now Robin Thicke is performing his hit single "When I Get You Alone." Performing with him is Edyta, Cheryl, Kym, Tony, Alec and Dimitry.
- Now an update on Melissa who is here tonight.
- The first couple safe tonight is Derek Hough & Lil Kim.
- The second couple safe tonight is Chelsie Hightower & Ty Murray.
- Next up is Robin Thicke singing his newest single "Sidestep." Dancing to his singing is Anya Garnis and Pasha Kovalev. You may recognize them from So You Think You Can Dance
- The next couple safe is Cheryl Burke & Gilles Marini.
- Up next is the professional dancers that are competing for a spot on next season. Up first is Afton DelGrosso and Genya Mazo. They are dancing the Quickstep.
- Next is Anna Demidova and Mayo Alanen. They are dancing the Jive. Next week the three winners will get to dance with a past celebrity!
- The fourth couple safe tonight is Shawn Johnson & Mark.
- The fifth and final couple safe tonight is Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani.
- That means tonight is the end of the road for Julianne Hough & Chuck Wicks.
