Dancing with the Stars Season 8 Week 10
- 5/11 Welcome to the semi-finals. Tonight we are down to the final four. Each couple will a Latin and Ballroom dance for a total of 60 points.
- Tonight's show starts off Aliona, Dmitry, Chelsie, Genya, Karina, Louis entertaining the crowd with a group dance.
- Next Melissa and Tony discuss their two break through dances, the Foxtrot and the Samba.
- Cheryl and Gilles discuss their break through dances, the Foxtrot and the Paso Doble.
- Shawn and Mark's break through dances, the Quickstep and the Paso Doble.

- The first couple on the dance floor tonight is Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani. Last week Melissa nearly nailed the Viennese Waltz. But she brought the party to the floor with the Samba and scored a perfect score. Tonight they are performing the Quickstep can they do it again?

- Carrie Ann Inaba: Thinks it was pretty but it wasn't connected to her soul.
- Len: Thought it had great musicality, feet much improved, thought it was gorgeous.
- Bruno: Thinks it was good, very good, it didn't drive him away and at this point of the season he wants to be driven away.

- The next couple on the dance floor tonight is Cheryl Burke & Gilles Marini. Last week Gilles' Foxtrot warmed the judges hearts but his Rumba cooled them off. This week they are dancing the Waltz.

- Carrie Ann Inaba: Thinks that was breathtaking. Subtle, sweet and perfection
- Len: Gives him a sitting down standing ovation.
- Bruno: Thinks this is the way to start the finals!

- The next couple on the dance floor tonight is Shawn Johnson & Mark. Last week Shawn grabbed her highest score yet with the Paso Doble, but she broke the hold in the Quickstep. Tonight they are dancing the Argentine Tango.

- Carrie Ann Inaba: Thinks that Shawn delivered, the lifts were wonderful.
- Len: Thinks they danced with maturity and he thought it was her best performance ever.
- Bruno: Thinks it was like watching Catherine Zeta Shawn doing the Tango in the musical Chicago. Great job!

- The next couple on the dance floor tonight is Chelsie Hightower & Ty Murray. Last week Ty's Tango and Rumba landed him in the bottom two but his fans rallied to give him another shot. Tonight they are dancing the Viennese Waltz.
- Carrie Ann Inaba: Loves the way Ty gets the whole crowd rooting for him, but tonight was a wobbly dance.
- Len: Doesn't think anyone has struggled or tried harder than Ty to become a dancer. Overhaul thinks it was a good dance.
- Bruno: Thinks this is the semi-finals the dances need to be smooth and this wasn't a smooth dance.

- The next couple on the dance floor tonight is Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani. They are dancing the Cha Cha Cha.
- Carrie Ann Inaba: Agrees with Bruno.
- Len: He liked it but not as much as he wanted to.
- Bruno: Thinks at times this dance was sensational but at times she doesn't keep the energy up.

- The next couple on the dance floor tonight is Cheryl Burke & Gilles Marini. They are dancing the Salsa.
- Carrie Ann Inaba: Thinks that was Gilles at his best and she wants to see him next week.
- Len: Can't really talk because he is speechless and wishes he had a 11 paddle!
- Bruno: Thinks Lil Kim is alive and well and hiding in his pants! Thinks he deserves to be in the finals.

- The next couple on the dance floor tonight is Shawn Johnson & Mark. Tonight their final dance is the Jive.
- Carrie Ann Inaba: Felt like she lost a little steam halfway through the dance but it was a good dance.
- Len: Thinks it was fast loved the feeling but for him there was to much messing around going on. Wanted to see more Jive
- Bruno: Likes it when she goes wild. Sometimes it looked more like a Lindy Hop.

- The final couple on the dance floor tonight is Chelsie Hightower & Ty Murray. Their last dance of the night is the Samba.
- Carrie Ann Inaba: Votes Ty the most valuable player of season 8.
- Len: Thinks it was to hectic but congratulates Chelsie for doing a fantastic job with Ty.
- Bruno: Thinks that he threw everything but the kitchen sink in that dance. He lost his footing but a brave effort.

Dancing with the Stars Season 8 Week 10 Elimination Night
- 5/12 Last night the final four contestants competed for a spot in the final.
- This evening starts with a performance by Raphael Saadiq, he is singing his single "100 Yard Dash."
- The judge's favorite this week is Shawn and Mark's Argentine Tango.
- Next is the final competition for next season's professional dancer. First up is Kym Johnson and Mayo. They are dancing the Tango.
- Carrie Ann Inaba: Very impressed with his choreography, but thinks he is to one dimensional and wants him to bring it out in his next dance.
- Len: Will tell anyone who asks him why he likes ballroom dancing to just watch these two!
- Bruno: Thinks he has a great lines and provides a great frame. Great usage of his partner.
- Next is Anna and she is dancing with Maks! Tonight their first dance is the Quickstep.
- Carrie Ann Inaba: Thinks any celebrity would be lucky to hook up with her
- Len: Thinks she brought the best out in Max!
- Bruno: Thinks it was magnificent , radiant and lightening fast. He loved the way she performed sold it to everyone.
- Next up this evening is the Macy's Day dance that the fans designed. It is Lacey, Julianne, Mark and Derek dancing the Quickstep!
- Next is Mayo and Kym dancing the Cha Cha Cha.
- Carrie Ann Inaba: Doesn't feel that he will be versatile in his characters he brings to the floor.
- Len: Great choreography the Cha Cha Cha lacked rhythm and the wow factor.
- Bruno: Thinks he is stronger in the Latin round.
- Next is Anna and Maks dancing a Samba.
- Carrie Ann Inaba: Wants to see more of her and hopes she wins it.
- Len: Thinks from week one through to tonight she has done a fantastic job and if she doesn't make it into next season's show he will show his bum in the supermarket.
- Bruno: Thinks she has been a great partner for each of her partners from week to week.
- On to the results...
