Dance Flick's movie trailer made an appearance on the Internet in November 2008. The comedy film premieres in theaters on February 6, 2009, and stars Marlon, Shawn and Keenen Ivory Wayans.

The trailer begins with flashing lights and hip-hop dancing. The narrator states "If you have a passion, if you have a dream...leave it all on the floor." A pregnant woman in labor "pops" a baby out on the dance floor. The viewer is then introduced to Megan, a clumsy dancer who smashes into people and things when she extends her foot during her dance moves. The remainder of the trailer shows high school students preparing for a dance contest and dancing in unusual ways.
