Retired professional football defensive tackle Dana Stubblefield played 11 seasons in the National Football League, from 1993 to 2003. Since retiring from the NFL, Stubblefield has served as a defensive line coach for Valley Christian High School in San Jose, California.
Stubblefield pleaded guilty on 2008 to a charge that he lied to federal agents over the use of performance-enhancing drugs as part of the investigation into BALCO. BALCO Scandal
In 2003, Stubblefield was suspended for testing positive for The Clear, the anabolic steroid, Tetrahydrogestrinone. As part of the investigation into BALCO, a substance testing laboratory, Stubblefield denied that he ever used performance enhancing substances or received any substances from BALCO.
