Dan Williams is a professional football player for the Arizona Cardinals. He was All-State by the Associated Press and Tennessee sportwriters his senior season in 2004. Williams redshirted at Tennessee his freshman year in 2005. In 2006, he played the final three games of the season and six games overall. Williams increased his production and playing time every season and in 2009 finished with 62 tackles and two quarterback sacks. Dan Williams was named preseason All-SEC Second Team by SEC coaches. On October 12, 2009 Williams had five tackles against the Georgia Bulldogs and was names outstanding SEC defensive performance of the week. Williams was also named for his oustanding performance on November 2 and November 16. Dan Williams 2008 Season
Dan Williams played in 12 games and started 9 in 2008. He lead all Tennessee defensive tackles in tackles, was second in quarterback pressures and third in tackles made for losses of yardage. Williams had at least three tackles in every game of the season. Eric Berry was the only other Tennessee player to accomplish that feat.
