• MMA

  Dan Severn followed up success in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling by entering the UFC in 1994. He would win the UFC 5 tournament as well as The Ultimate Ultimate tournament in 1995. In addition to competing, Severn has also trained and mentored several notable MMA fighters.

• Pro Wrestling

  Severn has worked in professional wrestling organizations such as the National Wrestling Alliance and World Wrestling Federation. He has also performed for Japan's UWF International. In 1995, Severn won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Chris Candido. Severn also won the UFC title in the same year, making him the only man to hold both an MMA and professional wrestling title at the same time.
