Daniel Ryan Johnson was born in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, on August 10, 1979. He attended Blaine High School and then continued his education at the University of Nebraska. Pro Career
On May 27, 2005, Johnson made his MLB debut with the Oakland Athletics. In his first season with the Athletics, Johnson hit 15 home runs and recorded a batting average of .275.
