  • NHL Career

    Hamhuis was drafted 12th overall in the 2001 NHL draft by the Nashville Predators. He continued with his junior team, the Prince George Cougars in the Western Hockey League, for one season after the draft. Hamhuis then played one season with the Predators' American Hockey League affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals, and made his NHL debut with the Predators in 2003. He played with the Admirals during the 2004-05 NHL lockout, then returned to the Predators in 2005.
